Hey there! We're Anna and Dan
We're two passionate hikers based in New York who love all things outdoors (especially birds). We're also keenly focused on the environment in our travels (enjoying it), our work (researching/preserving it) and our food (eating only plants from it!)
We've learned so much over the years from people's posts, trip reports, reviews and recipes. Creating this website is our small way of trying to give back to the online outdoors community by sharing some of our favorites finds along our journeys.
Since 2020, we've been visiting South-Central Alaska each summer and can't wait to do it again this year. In our humble (and admittedly biased) opinion, it's the most wild and beautiful place on the planet and we plan to focus at least the initial iteration of this site on providing information and resources to others who want to check it out as well.
